The "Ferienhaus (holiday home) Waldhaus" has a beautiful secluded location at the edge of the forest of Föckinghausen, a small village close to Bestwig, in the nature park „Arnsberger Wald".
We offer hikers and nature lovers who seek the quietness of nature a cosy holiday home for 2-4 people.
Our house is equipped as follows:
Cancellation fees
free of charge until eight weeks before travel start,
up to six weeks before travel start: 20 % of the total amount of the stay,
from four weeks before travel start: 50 % of the total amount of the stay.

Our hotel "Waldhaus Föckinghausen" is located only about 200 metres from the "Ferienhaus".
With plenty of creativity and innovative spirit we conjure up, on the basis of the good Westphalian cuisine, ever-surprising culinary delights for our guests.
You have the possibility to take part in the hotel breakfast between 8.00 to 10.00 hours as well as half-board between 18.00 and 20.00 hours. Please inform us upon arrival. We also gladly reserve a table for you, if you want to eat lunch or dinner a la carte in our house. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
The sauna-area in the hotel is open for the guests of the holiday home from Tuesday to Sunday between 16.00 and 19.00 hours and subject to prior consultation. The cost contribution is 12.00 € per person. Please inform the hotel staff if and when you want to use the sauna.
Should your holiday home be booked out at your preferred date, we alternatively recommend our holiday apartment which is directly located in the hotel.
Located at ground level and equipped with its own entrance, it has a comfortable double bed room, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, a fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious living room with day-bed and own terrace.
Furthermore, it is possible to also book all services of the hotel.
