You are standing on the parking lot, "Hotel Waldhaus" lies behind you and the meadow to your left. Take the path straight ahead, which you keep following.
The path circles the „Sengenberg“ (Sengen-mountain). Having reached the beech forest, you will soon have a panomaric view of the villages of Nuttlar (to your left) and Ostwig (straight ahead).
From here, you will also see „Haus Ostwig“, where Family von Lüninck still lives today.
The uncle of the present Baron Lüninck liked to come to this spot in the forest to relax. Back on the street, you turn right, back towards the hotel.
The deep black earth in the beech grove is remarkable as it suggests that there must once have been a charcoal pile in this area.
